How Can Chronic Pain Due To Arthritis Be Treated?

I take a 325mg Ecotrin aspirin each day as a result of a stent since 2004. For many years up until 2014 I also took plavax in addition to the 325mg aspirin. I need relief from daily pain from arthritis and would like to take Aleve; however, the instructions indicate I should not take it with the aspirin without a doctor s advice. Would it be ok to take aleve with my daily dose of aspirin?
