How Can Chronic Pain While Suffering From Breast Cancer Be Treated?
Hi, I have stage 4 breast cancer, metastasized to upper spine 2002. Had spine stabilization at onset. Chronic pain everyday after. I now have mrsa & have had since 2016. Infection disease Dr. keeps me on sulpher & he did try an aggressive approach with intravenous injections of Daptomycin 5ml. This did not make any difference. Any help other than a complete re-stabilization would greatly be appreciated!
As you have metastatic breast cancer, spinal involvement is present, which can lead to severe pain. Strong analgesic of Morphin group of the drug can be taken like tramadol. You can consult anesthesiologist for pain and can guide you for management of pain. Continue your chemotherapy or radiotherapy cycle as advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami
