General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The treatment of chronic sinusitis may be very challenging sometimes. However, if the exact cause has been identified, treatment/control of symptoms becomes much more easier.
Objectives of treatment however are: reduce sinus inflammation, keep your nasal passages draining, eliminate the underlying cause, and reduce frequency of symptoms.

Treatment options generally are:
• Saline nasal irrigation
• Nasal corticosteroids
• Oral or injected corticosteroids
• Antibiotics
• Immunotherapy
• Surgery

If sinusitis symptoms are not well controlled, recurrent bronchitis, asthma/bronchospasm are possible. The best treatment for your condition will be after complete medical evaluation by the doctor. Since you are already on treatment, I will advise you regularly see your doctor when you have symptoms for evaluation and alternative treatment options.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mbuomboh Veranso
