How Can Chronic Vaginal Candidiasis Be Treated?

I have long-standing non-specific infection that spreading out throughout my body. It started with intestinal candidiasis which became chronic. Also, I developed chronic vaginal candidiasis (come and go). Then I started having urethral pain (not the usual bacterial infection), then my bladder started hurting. Now I have severe kidney pain. All this took years to get to this point. No doctor did a thorough microbiology tests, they just get satisfied with urine culture, vaginal swab and blood test. Nothing shows on these tests. Yet, my condition is getting worse. I suspect that i might have a renal candidiasis, but can t figure out what doctor I should see. I was denied an appointment with infectious disease specialist three times, because my urine culture tests didn t show anything. I ve seen several urologist, they washed out their hands off me. Now what should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, yes, as you have difficulty in walking, stiffness, and unable to straighten leg fully and physiotherapy is of little helpful then better to do TKR. Kindly consult with orthopedician for proper examination and treatment. Continue physiotherapy as advised. Take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale
