How Can Cold And Chest Pain While Swallowing Be Treated?

hello. I have been having a common cold (Running nose) which usually goes with coldafex tablets. This time around i completed the dose but with no improvement, somebody advised cetrizine tabs which worked for me. However i am feeling some pain/discomfort in the chest when i swallow. Somebody advised me to take dexona, is it a proper description?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are having viral influenza. It is self limiting. Apply nasibion nasal drop. Take tablet crocin and vitamin C if there is fever. Do not go by anyone's advice, take advice of doctor if required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
