How Can Cold And Cough Along With Dizziness Be Treated?
Living in Southern California, San Diego County, I believe I have symptoms of a cold or Flu. Had it for 3 weeks now and it does not seem to be going away. Congestion, Loss of energy, Nasty Cough that lingers on and on, Some dizziness when I stand up.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You have an infection of paranasal sinuses and upper respiratory tract. If I were the physician treating you, then I would have given you a course of antibiotic like Amoxicillin-Clavulanic acid preparations like Augmentin for 5 to 7 days.
Kindly get prescription for the same by any general practitioner. A decongestant nasal drop would be better, or an antihistaminic like Levocetirizine would be supplemented.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
