How Can Cold And Cough Along With Shoulder Pain Be Treated?

I have had a cold for the last week with deep coughing. Today, I am much better. No coughing, runny nose or fever, but I have stabbing pain between shoulder blades. Just took an Epsom salt bath and am now using a h sting pad. Should I take medication. This pain does not seem to worsen with deep breathing.

Hello,

Cold and cough may not cause shoulder pain it may be due to myalgia or respiratory muscles spasm or pleurisy.

Drink plenty of water, avoid cool'drinks and freeze water. Use tablet Levocetirizine once a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
