Hi,

I have gone through the medical history of your daughter and understood your concerns.

Could and cough are caused by virus usually. However, if your daughter is having fever or any complication like bacterial bronchitis, then, antibiotics should be prescribed.

Now, in your daughter's case, her doctor has already prescribed antibiotic monocef to treat the underlying bacterial infection.

She is also taking decongestant (sinarest) and expectorant (honitus syrup). Apply vapour rub externally on her chest and upper back.
Aerosol-therapy can help ease the coughing and congestion.

Advise her to sleep with raised head to ease coughing episodes.
Be patient, hopefully she will be fine soon.
Wish fast recovery.
