How Can Cold, Sore Throat And Ear Congestion Be Treated?
I ve been dealing with a cold and have had a sore throat, fullness in my ears, and a stuffed or runny nose. I woke up with my right ear hurting and both of my ears feel full. I ve tried home remedies such as yawning, holding my nose and mouth shut and gently blowing, holding a warm wash cloth over my ear, etc. Nothing really seems to work and I can t sleep with my ears like this. What should I do?
if frequent cold sore throats and ear infection the cause need to be identified and addressed with avoiding triggers and using appropriate antibiotics for prescribed period. one should work to build immunity to prevent further attacks. eat nutritious food multivitamins and more zinc and vitamin C drink plenty water avoid triggers active and passive smoking and house hold chemical cleaning agents ( inhaling while cleaning) avoid pollen and others
now coming to your symptoms of fullness in ears
chewing gum might help getting your ears checked by ENT physician for any wax and cleaning them would help
for sore throat saline or salt water or mouth wash liquid gargling will help ginger honey lozenges/ strepsils will help
