How Can Constipation During Pregnancy Be Treated?

Hi Doctor, I am 4months pregnant and my tommy feels so tied inside. I have been living mostly on vegetables and fruits, but I don t really like sports, though I do some walking. Please what else can I do? I feel so uncomfortable especially at night, just don t sleep well with constipation. Sincerely

Hi, I think you should take a glass of milk with isabgula husk at night. it is safe to take in pregnancy. If it doesn't work, then you can take some stool softeners like syrup lactulose. These are also safe in pregnancy.
