Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter is having constipation which seems to be due to lack of fibers in diet, irritable bowel syndrome, eating a lot of dairy products, some medications, and inadequate water intake.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to drink lot of water. Do light exercises and avoid fatty and heavy meals. Don't lay on bed immediately after having food. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order barium studies and blood test and may prescribe fiber supplement psyllium, calcium polycarbophil, osmotic laxatives, stool softeners and medicine to reduce acidity.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
