How Can Corns On The Finger Be Removed?

hello, doctor, I got a corn on my finger which is six months long. first of all, i used to cut the hard skin but again and again, it comes out now and then. after this, I have decided to put corn cap over the corn on my finger now after 2 days I decided to remove the corn cap as per the instructions on the packet. As the consequences, I end up with reddishness, whitish and wrinkly ( for instance if we put our hand for a long time into a water it turns into whitish and wrinkly). it is a bit of painfully too.So, I removed the corn cap. Kindly suggest some remedies for this. Thank You

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Corn is a kind of callus, made of dead skin and is a harmless skin condition which is easily curable also.

You can consult a dermatologist and plan for cauterization or cryosurgery which has got good results and the recurrence rate is low.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
