How Can Costochondritis With Rib Tenderness And Itching Be Treated?

Hello, I have been told today that I have costochondritis. I have one clicky rib, my ribs are tender. I have had a heavy feeling around my chest and back area since before Christmas, although for two weeks I had no problems. I am a dance teacher. The strange thing is that passing wind seems to help the condition. Is it normal to have itchy ribs with this too? Thank you.
