How Can Cough And Breathing Difficulty Be Treated?
I have a cough that started just about 4 days ago, when I am breathing I have this weasing in my longs, it wakes me up at night. I am traveling and the area of Alabama that we are has a lot of pollen, I have itchy irritated eyes, what home remedies can I use before I can see a doctor?. My husband has the same symptoms.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough and breathing difficulty which seems to be due to lung infection, allergic symptoms and bronchospasm.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult pulmonologist once before going without any delay. Doctor may order blood test and get an x ray of the chest and Immunoglobulin G levels checked for further treatment. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with decongestants and mucolytic agents. Do warm saline gargles with pinch of salt water. Take expectorants and steam inhalation and take rest. You should avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. Cover your face while exposure to allergens.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
