How Can Cough And Chest Congestion In An Infant Be Treated?

My 7 month old son has cough and cold for last 2 weeks,first doctor prescribed Alex drop and brozeet LS and l montus but still chest congestion was there and doctor prescribed nebulize with budecort and levolin 0.63,after nebulizing he seems better,having food,but he still coughing a lot,specially in night and morning.called the doc and he again asked to nebulize for more two days,I an very much worried,does he need other medication or it is OK with nebulization, is it normal in that age cough and cold?

Hello,

I think your child is having something more complicated than a cold, maybe bronchitis or pneumonia because it is lasting too much.

I think he needs antibiotics except aerosol treatment. Azithromycin suspension can also help.
