How Can Cough And Cold Along With Stomach Upset Be Treated?
I have a runny nose, cough, congestion, diarrhea and a head ache. Are these all symptoms of a head cold or sinus infection. Also, my stomach is very upset. I feel very nauseous when my stomach is empty. I have to keep eating small amounts of food in order to not to vomit.
It can be generalized viral infection. Symptomatic management can be done for that. Decongestant like Levocetirizine or Phenylephrine can be prescribed according to suitability.
Maintain hydration with lots of water, fruit juice is beneficial. Avoid excess spicy foods.
Stool routine micro examination and occult blood test can be done and according to stool report antibiotic course will be prescribed if needed. Consult a physician for the examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
