How Can Cough And Cold In Child Be Treated?

Hi my son has cough, sounds like he has mucus on his throat, just the other day he coughed hard and ended throwing up, there a mucus on it and its yellowish. Also, he got a bad breath after few days he got cough and colds. Just worried what causes it and what are the remedies?

Hi,

This is due to the persistent infection that he suffers from a cough and fever.

Therefore, he needs antibiotic coverage like Amoxicillin along with anticough syrup.

As soon as infection subsides, he will return to normal.

However, medication can be prescribed based on his age and another history. Let me know or report to the emergency room.
