How Can Cough And Fever In An Infant Be Treated?

My baby is 8 month old .she is having cough from past 4 days and last night suddenly her temperature raised to 101 at 2 clock so I gave her sinrest drops 2ml . Now her temperature become normal so what can I do now pls advise me whether I have to take hospital for cough

Well, It depends on how aggressive the cough is and how often does she cough. If you think a cough is too frequently, doesn't leave her to sleep, or to eat. Then, in this case, to go to the hospital. On the other hand, if a cough is not too often or doesn't seem to be serious you may try at home by using aerosol therapy with NaCl and with Paracetamol in case of temperature. In any case, if the baby has too many days with a cough seeing a doctor is the best choice.
