General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your child might have an upper respiratory tract infection. An infant usually excess cough expelled through vomiting.

He has been given antibiotics, healthy bacteria, zinc and antiemetic drug.

The cough not resolved by an antibiotic, so it can be a viral infection and symptomatic management can be continued in the form of an antiemetic sachet.

However, additionally, chest x-ray and CBC can be done for further workup. You should consult him to a nearby pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
