Hello welcome to the health care magic

Your child has been prescribed decongestant phenylephrine and bronchodilator drug.
Phenylephrine cannot prescribed in below 4 year child. But in greater than 4 year old child it can be prescribed.

Your doctor might done Auscultation and physical examination and so bronchodilator also prescribed as bronchoconstriction might present. (rhonchi heard in bronchoconstriction)

If no improvement than further work up needed and again have to consult pediatrician

Take care

Hope this will help you
