How Can Curved Spine Be Corrected?

hi, I am having problems with posture. its not super bad but I can tell when I am not balanced. I had scoliosis and have had the spinal fusion. there is still a curve in my spine. my question is, is a chiropractor a good choice to help with posture and aligning the spine or is it a waste of money and time? is a back brace a good idea? and last but not least does correcting my posture help with aligning my spine even after a spinal fusion.

Hello,
Sorry to say that since you had a spinal fusion nothing can be done now. There is no way to correct your posture now.
But you need to take care of other parts of your body like the lungs, ribs, abdominal organs and the legs.
Yoga can help you to certain extend.
Again i would like to emphasize to take care of your breathing(would suggest pranayam for that) as it is the first thing affected.
I find this answer helpful
