How Can Dark Spots On The Lower Lip Be Treated?

Hi i woke up this morning with a few dark spots (very visible) that appeared on my lower lip. Closer to the inside of my mouth. About two weeks ago i was eating a lot of fresh pineapple, and one day the pineapple burned my lips very bad and caused small bumps. After about 4 days the bumps went away, and then my lips were very dry for about a week. And now today this. I’m very afraid. Could you tell me what this might could be?

Hello,

As per your case history of dark spots on lips, my treatment advice is:

1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30.
2. Apply a Kenacort oral paste twice a day.
3. Take a vitamin B12 supplement once daily for 3 months.

If the problem persists, then consult a dermatologist.
