How Can Degenerated Disc Disease And Fibromyalgia Be Treated?
Good Morning Doctor, My name is Lianne and recently moved to Mass from Fla to care for my Father. I have had chronic pain for several years. I have degenerated disc disease, Fibromyalgia. I recently turned the age of 59yrs of age. At 42 I had my first total knee replacement and at 45yrs old I had my 2nd total knee replacement. I also have gout. I have always been very active, I worked out at mikes Gym 5days per week 3 and one half hours a day until I blew out the first knee but was always in great shape and the year of 2005 i ran the Boston Marathon. Right now i am 50plus pounds overweight, my normal weight has always been no more than 115. I have no quality of life whats so ever. I have tried many different treatments buy sorry to say that the only thig that truly helps me is oxycodone 30mg and was prescribed 3 per day and i asked the r to come down a little bit and he put me on 15mgs 3xs per day which really helped. at one point he put me on methadone 10mgs 3-4xs per day. now living in mass it is very hard to find a Dr. Could you please help me? Thank you
