How Can Dementia And Paranoia Be Treated?

Hello - I have some concerns surrounding quetiapine oral and risperidone oral taken together. My mom is prescribed both and within the last several months since being prescribed both, is almost in a zombie like state. She has been diagnosed with moderate dementia and has displayed signs of paranoia, so was prescribed both due to manic episodes. Now she has a hard time functioning - unable to bathe, cook, dress herself without assistance.
