Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Buspar can be given up to dosage of 60mg. If your dosage is low it can be increased to maximum tolerable levels. Moreover if you are seeking treatment for depression as well make sure your dosage are correct. As your depression symptoms will improve anxiety symptoms will also improve. SNRI like Venlafaxine is good if you have anxiety as well as depression symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As Buspar has been effective for you at past, according to guidelines it should be continued. You need a augmenting agent like lithium or Thyroxine or dopamine antagonist. They will increase the effect of Buspar and your remaining symptoms will be taken care off. Discuss with your practitioner regarding adding of a augmenting agent.

Hope I have answered your query.
