I have gastroparesis and diverticulosis and have been having bloating, fullness and pain that is radiating to my mid left side of back. I had bad diarreaha yesterday and nothing much today, how can I treat this considering both conditions? I have had diverticulitis before but this feels different and there s no fever. I was treated with Cipro which I can no longer take

Hello,

It may be pancreatitis or cholecystitis or gastritis or renal calculi or radiculopathy etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.

avoid spicy food and alcohol, avoid smoking. Get it done ultrasound abdomen and upper GI endoscopy. Please consult your physician/surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
