How Can Diarrhea Caused By Taking Antibiotics Be Treated?

Hello, I believe I am experiencing antibiotic- related diarrhea, which is not real severe. Within the last 6 weeks I have taken Z-pak and Cipro due to a bronchial infection. I visited my doctor and all the stool samples came back negative. I d like to take probiotics but am not sure which one I should try first. Could you give me a suggestion? Thanks you very much

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having non infective diarrhea as per history and your stool culture also negative

You have to maintain hydration with lots of water and consume ORS with water also to replenish lost electrolyte

Lactobacilli containing probiotic will be good..

So choose any locally available probiotic that contains Lactobacilli

It is advisable to take Small meal with frequent interval rather then heavy fatty meals

Take care

Hope your concern solved
