How Can Dizziness Along With Ear Congestion Be Treated?

I have had several dizzy spells lately. Sometimes I just move my head, sometimes I am in the heat outside, sometimes exertion, sometimes sitting still. Today I was outside spraying weeds (natural mixture) and I was so dizzy I could not walk without holding on. I barely made it to the steps to sit down. It passed after a minute or so of sitting. I put my head down for a bit as well. My ears seem to close up and my face does not feel normal but I can talk fine, I am cognizant of surroundings and my face is not contorted at all.

Hi,

Since when you're having dizziness?

Ear congestion may cause dizziness due to the middle ear infection. Ear congestion may be due to eustachian tube block, pharyngitis or allergy etc.

You may also be suffering from BPPV. Wear a mask while working outside in the fields. Avoid cool drinks and cold water, smoking and caffeine drinks. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Use tablet Montelukast and Levocetirizine. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
