How Can Dizziness And Vomiting Be Treated?

The other day, I felt dizzy and later vomited. I had to get taken to the hospital and the doctor gave me intravenous medicine for the dizziness and the intestinal virus. After staying the night there, I was told that I had a middle ear malfunction. I will be seeing my regular doctor in a few days. What would you suggest that I do to help to treat this?
