Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Greetings. I am Stanley. I have been suffering from dry cough and chest pains associated with warm feelings in my chest for two months. My Dr diagnosed it to be as a result of acid reflux after some examinations carried out. I have been place on omeprazole which I have been taking for almost two weeks now with some reduction in the coughing and the chest pains. But I have been sweating profusely for the past three days. What advice can I take regarding this situation? Thank you.
Until examination, it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid cool'drinks and freeze water. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling. Use tablet montelukast plus levocetrizine once at night after food is useful. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
