How Can Dysphagia After Swallowing A Large Pill Be Treated?
just swallowed a 400 mg magnesium citrate gel cap (very large pill) and it feels like it went up the back of my throat , kind of like toward the canal that comes from the nose. tried drinkinh hot tea, crackers etc but it still feels like it is stuck. what should i do? thanks so much.
It may be stuck or it us just a sensation since it has passed thru touching / scraping the walls of the pharynx a sits large in size. Take plenty of fluids and relax. If it is stuck there needs to pass down or removed or else just take syp Mucaine gel for the sensation with capsule not being stuck there. If it is stuck there has to be dealt with a fibre optic flexible scope to visualise and then removed or 2 tongue depressor to elevate the palate and then remove
