General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It can be an inner ear infection like Labyrinthitis or Vestibulitis. Otitis media or other ear infection also can lead to ear pain.

Otoscopy ear examination can be done for further work up. According to the cause, a specific treatment would be given.

If inner ear infection present, then short-term steroid course can be prescribed along with antibiotic if needed. Consult the Otorhinolaryngologist for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
