so i got my ears pierced four days ago. They do not hurt and are not puffy but one of them looks funny and it looks like water comes out of one of them. Is there anything i can to stop the infection from getting worse. I use the "ear care anitseptic" cleaner 5 or 6 times a day and do not play with them at. Is there any large risk of it really bad?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain watery discharge from the ear piercing site can be inflammatory fluid that is formed secondary to inflammation that can occur due to tissue injury caused due to ear piercing.. Another reason for discharge from ear can be due to allergic reaction to the metal used in the earring in case if you are not wearing earrins made f gold or plastic as other metals are not inert in nature and get decomposed when exposed to water or air and decomposition products can lead to allergic reaction.. Last but not the least there can be infection in the ear piercing site.. I would suggest you wear gold or plastic earrings.. Clean the area with antiseptic solution and apply a triple antibiotic ointment and steroid ointment over it.. In case of no improvement in a week consult a General surgeon and get evaluated.
Hope this information helps..
