How Can Eczema Be Treated Apart From Prednisone?

I used the prednisone for eczema in June 2016 for approximately two weeks. I have a bad flare up now and want to know if it is too soon (safe) to begin another round of prednisone again at this time. I am really flared up, itchy and sore, especially around my eyes and mouth. The prednisone seems to be the only thing that works when I get like this. This will be the third time being on the 10 mg in the last 10 to 12 months.Thank you,

Hello,

Instead of using Prednisone tab. You can try steroid lotion or cream for external use. Like, Clop S lotion will be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
