How Can Elbow Dislocation Be Treated?

On Thanksgiving day, I fell and dislocated my elbow. It popped back in and was just very sore. Yesterday, I was pulling on a box and dislocated the same elbow again. Again, I popped it back in and it s very sore today. I have a physical next week. Is it okay to wait until next week to see the doctor?

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

If you have no swelling at the elbow, or do not have severe pain, your elbow looks normal (not deformed,or curved ), you are generally not feeling very bad, then its ok. You can wait till you appointment but care should be taken, like avoiding heavy lifting or much force on this hand.
If any of the above mentioned problem( swelling ,deformity, sever pain ) is there, you can walk to the ER.

Hope I have answered your query.
