How Can Elevated BP Be Treated?
I have taken atenolol for more than 25 years.I have had very bad reactions to many other meds when I first developed blood pressure. Problem being my Dr would like to change med.I understand they are having trouble manufacturing this drug.I am looking for med that I can suggest that I will be able to tolerate.Any suggestions. I am very sensitive to meds.

You can switch to newer drugs like Losartan or Telmisartan which are quite effective and has for few side effects. They are better tolerated and affordable. You have to monitor blood pressure at-least once weekly and make necessary adjustments in dose.
