How Can Elevated TSH Levels Be Treated?

Hi doctor my age 29...when I was in 3rd month my TSH was 7.5. I used 25mg...after that till 9th month it was normal....after delivery I stopped using tablets..4 months over now my TSH is 29.8...what to do...my doctor asked me to take 100mcg....is that correct?

It will be safer to continue with 50 mcg daily. Actually a new medicine by name thyroweek 75 is also available & needs to be taken once a week. Your TSH 29.8 is very high(N-0.3 -3.0). Have you got baby's TSH done, which is a must. Get your TSH done after 6 months & let me know. you will be fine.
