How Can Elevated Blood Pressure Levels Be Treated?

I am taking Amlodipine for high blood pressure started taking Hawthorn hoping to lower my blood pressure to an acceptable range. Taking Amlodipine by it self brought it down a lot but not to the suggested range my doctor will like it to be. Is it good to take Hawthorn along with Amolodipine?

I can understand your concern.
Hawthorne is herbal product useful in heart conditions like irregular heart beats, angina and heart failure.
It has no role in reducing blood pressure.
So better to consult your doctor for control of hypertension.
You may need higher dose of Amlodipine or additional antihypertensive (telmisartan or losartan) drugs to control hypertension.
Avoid excessive salt in diet.
Do you regular exercise and loose weight if you are obese.
Don't worry, you will achieve blood pressure control by all these.
