How Can Elevated Blood Pressure Levels Be Treated?

I am out of town and cant get hold of my doctor. I got off most bp meds when I lost a dramatic amount of weight. Now my bp is running 160/110. Is it ok for me to grab my old bottle (a year I know they are still good) of losartan 50mg and use the until I get back to town? I tolerated them well I just don t like my bp running this high consistently. I use a monitor.

Hello,

Losartan is a very good drug for blood pressure but I don't know if the bottle you have is good or not . you should control your blood pressure as high can affect your brain kidney eye and hear. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
