How Can Elevated Liver Enzymes Be Treated?

my daghter age is 20 now and she is suffering from bone tb for the past 3 months. And the doctor advised her to take AKT4. This month when we took liver test in that the SGOT and SGPT unit reading is high. It is 100 and 149 respectively. What should I do now. Any medicine is avaialble to low the sgpt and sgot? please advise me.

I can understand your concern.
Anti tubercular drugs like rifampicin, pyrazinamide and isoniazid causes drug induced hepatitis.
So your daughter is having AKT 4 induced hepatitis.
So first of all stop AKT 4.
Start levofloxacin, ethambutol and injection streptomycin because they are not hepatotoxic.
Also give her plenty of glucose orally, Liv 52 syrup thrice daily and high protein diet.
Don't worry, her SGPT and SGOT will fall in 1-2 weeks.
