Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In 22 years old and have endometriosis and i have been having problems with really high heart rates for the last few months im taking depo provera as a birth control and idk if this has to do with my high heart rates ive had my heart checked and nothing is wrong with my heart and lately ive been having some shortness of breath i was told i had tachycardia but ive never had it before starting BC
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. You had hormonal injection. And this can cause tachycardia (high pulse rate) and breathing difficulty. So better to consult your gynecologist and substitute current birth control drug. Once you change your birth control drug, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
