Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Adenoids with conservative medical treatment are difficult to treat. At this age, if there is the possibility of surgery getting done and if your symptoms fall in criteria, then please go ahead with surgery.

I work in the surgical field and seen many patients getting adenoidectomy done and getting the permanent solution for their problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
