How Can Epididymis Soreness With A Tube Knot Be Treated?

what would your problem be if you have a sore epididymis....I've done a feel test on my testicles, and it feels as if there is a small knot in the tube connected to the epididymis. Plus sometimes I can feel a fluid back-up where the epididymis connects to my testicles...what may seem to be the problem?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query and self examination which can be misguiding many a times as this is a specialized area.
I would advise you to visit and get examined by an Urologist for diagnosis whether this is epididymitis or a cyst of epididymis or something else.
This has to be confirmed by ultrasonography and color doppler examination, semen analysis, STD and other blood tests and urine test for culture and sensitivity. Ultrasonography of the abdomen and pelvis particularly for urinary system, prostate and seminal vesicles to see for primary problem.
