How Can Epilepsy Be Treated?

12th year my son is suffering from epilepsy, within 4 years. He is taking medicines encourate 4oo 1x2, lobazam 10 1x2 , lameze 5o 1x2 , levera 500 1x2 daily.but attack is not stopped. According to dr. Mamta bhushan singh.aiims he need to surgery. What should I so?

Hi,
I can understand what you have been going through. But certain epilepsy do not respond to several standard medications. It can be termed as resistant epilepsy. There are only few options left for such patients.
I would suggest you to follow the instructions of the specialist from the premier institute that you have mentioned. Or you can get a second opinion from specialists in premier institute like NIMHANS, Bangalore.
