Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, you should take him to pediatric neurologist. He does not only need anti epileptic drugs but he also needs counseling, behavior education, guidance regarding motor function of brain. Childhood Epilepsy if not treated correctly can lead to brain damage and this in turn leads to poor motor and developmental milestones. So he needs complete assessment and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
