How Can Essential Tremors Be Treated?

I take atenolol for BP but also just diagnosed with essential tremors which atenolol is also suppose to help. I find my tremors are worse when stressed... I received atenolol from my primary care doctor..should I also see someone else? My father had the tremors as do my four siblings at differnt degrees. we are all in our 60 s.

Drugs most commonly used to treat the condition include beta-blockers (propranolol) and an epilepsy drug called primidone (Mysoline). Topiramate (Topamax), another drug used to treat epilepsy and migraine, helps some people.
you need to check investigations
MRI
ECG
chest. Xray
Cholesterol
Triglycerides
CBC
