How Can Excessive Fluid In The Abdomen Be Removed?

A family member has stage 4/5 kidney disease where dialysis is not an option due to aortic stenosis and age. Fluid is starting to accumulate in his abdomen and he has labored breathing. Is there a way to drain fluid that has accumulated? Thanks.
