Hi, I have been gaining weight whilst taking Carbimozole for hyperthyroidism and I am really getting desperate. I work out and eat probably 800 calories a day and still the weight increases. I am on 5mg of C... a day but I am still gaining weight. I feel as thought I am heading towards depression as I no longer want to go out and be around people. I am a bridesmaid at my brother s wedding and I do not know what size dress I should be asking them to buy for me because my weight is going up all the time. Please help?
