How Can Excessive Weight Loss Along With Fatigue Be Treated?

I am an 86 year old female and never had a thyroid problem before, but since being on Plavix after a stent implant in 2016, I keep losing so much weight; am so tired and dizzy. My TSH level is 6.550. My diet is very clean, but unless I eat a lot of carbs per day, I lose 2 or 3 pounds overnight. I have always had a problem with drugs and bad reactions. What can I do to stop losing so much weight? I stopped the Plavix 3 months ago. My blood pressure is okay systolic, but low on diastolic. My cholesterol ratio is 2.9.

Plavix will not cause fatigue or weight loss. You need to undergo detailed physical and laboratory evaluation including screening for breast, lung, colon, and cervical cancer to evaluate the cause for such significant weight loss and fatigue. Neurological and Psychological evaluation is also needed as depression can cause similar symptoms.
