Hello, Thanks for the query.
Grade 3 fatty liver means there is accumulation of excess fat in the liver, which also causes increase in size(Hepatomegaly). The symptoms like loss of appetite and fullness, yellowish urine and weakness are usually the symptoms associated as stated by you.
There are no specific drugs for reduction of fatty liver , however, following steps do help.:
1) Refraining form alcohol and smoking. Alcohol has to be completely avoided as it is one of the main causes for fatty liver.
2)Wight reduction and regular exercise are very important. Being over weight or obese can be a precursor for fatty liver.
3) If diabetic then strict blood glucose control is ver necessary. FBG 4) Cholesterol and other lipids should be under control, hence a statin may be needed to control lipids.
5) BP also should be maintained with in normal limits (120 -130/ 70 to 80 mm Hg).
6) Even though hypothyroidism directly has no role but uncontrolled TSH levels do increase body weight, hence controlling hypothyroidism (maintaining TSH between 3 to 4 mU/L) is also essential.
Basically you will have to adapt a modified lifestyle.
I hope I have clarified your doubts. Thanks.
